Alex Lazarus

Based in London, I spent many years in multinationals such as Virgin HQ (working as part of the support office for Richard Branson and Simon Wright), Fox Family Worldwide (marketing, sponsorship, strategy) and The Walt Disney Family (PR, marketing, sponsorship, partnerships) where after serving as their Marketing Director with a responsibility of over 20 emerging markets, launching new channels and organising awards events on major broadcaster platforms, I left to set up my own consultancy Lazarus & Maverick.

After years of business experience and at the height of my much-loved career, the more I served as a leader, the more I was drawn to launching people, not products, into success. Examining the success of our business through the lens of human behaviour has always been my starting point and I felt I had to learn more to truly give back. Having attended a Disney Leadership Accelerate programme in Los Angeles, I was inspired by the coaches we worked there to change career, to retrain, and my consultancy, Lazarus & Maverick Limited was born.

Many coaching courses later including years of incredible learning experience at the Henley Business School (MSc, 2019) and becoming a practitioner in various psychometric and assessment models from the Lumina Learning range (Spark | Leader | Sales | Emotion) and others, together with a group of colleagues we proudly help leaders and organisations to enable their people to work better together, to unpack unhelpful group dynamics, to think freely and creatively about the future possibilities and to bring basic human psychology to the corporate space (KPMG, Spotify, Apple, Toast, Disney, EndemolShine and others)
