Country Manager AIG Bermuda
Corporate Executive
Work With Us

After earning my Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Howard University, I began a career in underwriting. I became the first woman in Bermuda to earn my CPCU (Chartered Professional Commercial Underwriter) designation. As I continued in my insurance career, I was selected for leadership roles to manage larger blocks of business, lead new product launches, and open new operations. Currently, I am the Country Manager for AIG in Bermuda.

I wrote the first book on the history of the international insurance industry, Held Captive - A History of International Insurance in Bermuda. This involved a tremendous amount of research including hundreds of interviews. This has led to frequent requests to write and speak on the subject, locally and internationally.

Beyond my professional responsibilities, I have served in community and civic leadership roles, including serving as the only female commissioner of the SAGE Commission. I have led and contributed to numerous professional development and networking programs to advance other professionals in my industry. Because I am passionate about continuous professional development, I have completed executive programs through Wharton as well as MIT. In 2018 I was chosen to be a Fellow for the International Women’s Forum.
