Mike Kaufmann

Mike C. Kaufmann is a Board member of and advisor to both public and private companies, a former Fortune 15 CEO and CFO, and an active advocate and executive speaker on leadership and diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I).

He spent more than 32 years of his career at Cardinal Health, a global, integrated healthcare solutions company providing vital products, world class services and customized solutions for providers along the continuum of care. He spent his last 5 years as CEO leading the company to record revenues, driving improvements in its portfolio and cost structure and, managing through the impacts of Covid and its related significant impacts on employees and the supply chain. He also served in a wide range of executive leadership positions within operations, sourcing, sales, finance and general management and prior to being CEO, he was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Known throughout his career for his creativity and grit, Kaufmann thrives on cultivating, establishing and nurturing strong relationships. As a longtime DE&I champion, he was purposeful in embedding DE&I initiatives within the fabric of the enterprise to ensure progress thrives well beyond his tenure.

Kaufmann currently serves as a member of the board of directors for MSC Industrial Supply, SAFE Health Systems and Prescribe FIT. He is also on the advisory boards of HealthQuest Capital and Celonis.
